Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2015, Volume 16, Issue 5,   Pages 367-379 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1400351

Abstract: have focused on shadow puppet modeling and interaction. Most of the shadow puppet figures are still imaginary, spread by ancients, or carved and painted by shadowpuppet artists, without consideration of real dimensions or the appearance of human bodies. This study proposes an algorithm to transform 3D human models to 2D puppet figures for shadow puppetsExperiment proves that more realistic and attractive figures and animations of the shadow puppet can

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2023, Volume 24, Issue 1,   Pages 88-103 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2200118

Abstract: generally includes shadow image detection and identification, and plays an important role in ISS.The authentication of the shadow image in the distributing (encoding) phase is also important for thethe received shadow image with his/her private key.In the decoding phase, the dealer can authenticate each received shadow image with a secret key; in addition, the dealer can losslessly decode the secret image with any k or more shadow images.

Developments in semiconductor thermoelectric materials

Laifeng LI, Zhen CHEN, Min ZHOU, Rongjin HUANG

Frontiers in Energy 2011, Volume 5, Issue 2,   Pages 125-136 doi: 10.1007/s11708-011-0150-1

Abstract: A surge in interest in developing alternative renewable energy technologies has been observed in recent years. In particular, thermoelectrics has drawn attention because thermoelectric effects enable direct conversion between thermal and electrical energy, and provide power generation and refrigeration alternatives. During the past decade, the performance of thermoelectric materials has been considerably improved; however, many challenges continue to exist. Developing thermoelectric materials with superior performance means tailoring interconnected thermoelectric physical parameters-electrical conductivities, Seebeck coefficients, and thermal conductivities for a crystalline system. The objectives of this paper are to introduce the recent developments in semiconductor thermoelectric materials, and briefly summarize the applications of such materials.

High Resolution Earth's Gravity Field Models DQM99

Shi Pan,xia Zheren,sun Zhongmiao,li Yingchun

Strategic Study of CAE 1999, Volume 1, Issue 3,   Pages 51-55

Abstract:

The harmonic series formula of the Earth´s disturbing potential is the most extensive applicable expression for the Earth´s gravity field model. At present, the resolution of the used geopotential coefficient model is 0.5°, and the complete degree and order is 360. Since the gravity data density and precision are very different everywhere, the model accuracy isn´t uniform. The improvement of model is necessary.. The method of the regional correction with frequency weight for improving a known model is a convenient and applicable method. Based on the OSU91A and EGM96 models and regional 15´×15´ △g and 5´×5´ △g, the improved models DQM99A and DQM99B to degree 720, DQM99C and DQM99D to degree 2 160 are developed. Their accuracy comparison is presented in this paper.
